I used my battery for the first time after receiving it about a month ago. I used it for a weekend of camping in Jasper where night time temperatures were around 5C or less.
When I connected the battery and checked my RV monitor it said “Charging” which I found unusual as normally this is only lit up when plugged in or on a generator. I checked again that evening when the furnace was running and a couple of lights (LED bulbs) were on. It was now displaying “Good” which is what I normally see with the four 6 Volt batteries that I previously used. When the furnace shut off it went back to charging. This didn’t change after three nights of camping. I did use a couple of 100 watt solar panels to charge during the day but I didn’t really babysit them and only turned them a couple of times. I just used my multimeter to check the battery and it’s showing 13.05 volts, I started with 13.65
Needless to say I’m impressed with the performance of the battery. I do wonder about the performance over time but so far I’m very happy. I did remove the battery and will store it inside.
Last year I bought a 100Ah battery from this company and used it for 6 nights last summer to run my CPAP machine. It’s performance hasn’t changed at all from last year. I checked it after three nights of use this past trip and it’s at 13.10 volts. I had it hooked to a 100 watt solar panel as well.
It’s definitely a change from the old lead acid batteries but so far I’m very impressed. So much easier to move around. I still have two 6 volts lead acid batteries so I installed a switch to isolate the two battery systems from each other.
I highly recommend the company and the batteries.
